Any suggestions? Oh, yes it doesn't have to be filebot specifically to accomplish this I am open to suggestions from the community on this pre-processing scenario.

I like the fact that MCM will flush the completed torrents from my utorrent cue. I use the series and movies fetchers with utorrent integration on a scheduled period. Another question would be the loss of utorrent integration features in MCM.

Do you advise using the run a program post prcessing feature of utorrent or is there a way to use MCM's own post processing strings to call filebot into action. Basically allow filebot to do its thing and manage the initial cherry picking of my torrent drop folder, rename the episodes and movies and dump them into the MCM parsed folder all ready to fetch. Despite all this power, Filebot employs a relatively straightforward user interface: drag your files in, choose a naming convention, pick your metadata partner, preview the results and then click to rename. So I am determined to free MCM from the unnecessary parsing. There’s also integration with uTorrent (Windows), Transmission (Mac) and Deluge (Linux) for working with media downloaded from the internet. I know utorrent had the capability to run post processes with filebot's Groovy script. Many times I had a plethora of other stuff (software, images, PDF's) mixed with my media torrents and I see MCM having to parse these items again and again.

I realize of course MCM is capable of sorting out what is a movie and what is a television series from the parser folder itself and I know that I can make my utorrent drop folder the parsed location. However, Filebot is not the only file renamer or media organizer you can use. It pulls TV titles from movie databases automatically, and you can look up subtitles from OpenSubtitles.

It is also great for fetching subtitles for movies and TV shows you have downloaded.

I was looking into using filebot's automation scripts to migrate and rename files to the parser folder from my utorrent drop folder. Filebot is a tool that helps you organize and rename movie, anime, and TV files. The automation features of MCM are fantastic but as great as your work is the rest of the torrent community needs to have standardized naming before MCM's fetchers can do their work properly. I am seeking a little advice from someone who has made a working "pre-processing" scenario. First and foremost many thanx for what is by far the best meta fetcher/file manager etc on the planet.
